Studios may include additional administrative fees. This is a standard practice in the dance industry, helping to cover the time, coordination, and expenses studios take on when organizing, registering, and attending events.

Dancers must be registered for the entire Workshop to compete.

At Press Play, we believe dancers thrive through consistent training with a reputable dance studio. However, we recognize that in certain situations, a dancer may participate as an "independent." For our purposes, an independent dancer is defined as someone not affiliated with a physical studio or actively training through a structured, ongoing program. We understand this distinction can be nuanced. As such, any questions regarding independent status will be addressed at the discretion of the Press Play Directors.

• Independent dancers are welcome to attend the Press Play Workshop.
• Please note that independent dancers are not eligible to compete in the Press Play Competition.
• Additionally, while they are not eligible for Audition Scholarships, they may be considered for Class Scholarships.

Individual/Independent pricing will be available once you create an “individual account” with our online registration system. The registration system will be available on August 5.
